Research on osteosynthesis of implants and development of trabecular structure using Additive Manufacturing
A) The aim of the project is to produce implants that provide a higher degree of biocompatibility and biofunctionality for the human body, using Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology, with faster healing and significantly longer life. It also aims to provide a complete overview of the individual solutions of AM, a summary of the experience needed for day-to-day surgical practice and complementing them to meet the needs of surgery, which may differ significantly from the solutions used and adopted in the industry. About the Research, technological development and innovation objective
Thematic Objective 1 of the 2014–2020 Cohesion period funds research, technological development and innovation. It supports R&D infrastructure, technology transfer, business-academia partnerships and pilot lines that close the gap between scientific discovery and market application across EU regions.
