Magallanes Center for the Entrepreneurship of Cultural and Creative Industries
The project will create an Entrepreneurship Center for Creative and Cultural Industries (Centro Magallanes) aimed at consolidating an entrepreneurial ecosystem that will allow the creation and dissemination of an innovative cultural offer for the AAA Euroregion. The need for cooperation is based on common historical, patrimonial and cultural roots, including those linked to the figures of the discoverers, as well as the presence of a productive fabric of low density in the AAA territories, which requires targeted interventions to promote the emergence and exploitation of business initiatives …
About the Competitiveness of SMEs objective
Thematic Objective 3 backs the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises through grants, financial instruments, business-development services and internationalisation support. SMEs account for the bulk of EU employment, so the objective acts as a regional jobs lever.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €20.5M toward a total project cost of €27.3M — a co-funding rate of 75%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
