PROWAD LINK PROTECT & PROSPER: Benefits through linking sustainable growth with nature protection
PROWAD LINK aims to support sustainable economic growth in the North Sea Region (NSR) by engaging SMEs in nature conservation, unlocking the potential of nature heritage brands as a driver for jobs and sustainable regional development.The project will develop and test innovative tools and strategies for SMEs in the NSR in order to: improve access to brands provided by natural heritage sites with economic value; enhance SME sustainability in the NSR; and develop innovative marketable offers and products in a co-creation process with knowledge partners.The main results will be increased revenue…
About the Research, technological development and innovation objective
Thematic Objective 1 of the 2014–2020 Cohesion period funds research, technological development and innovation. It supports R&D infrastructure, technology transfer, business-academia partnerships and pilot lines that close the gap between scientific discovery and market application across EU regions.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.3M toward a total project cost of €4.9M — a co-funding rate of 46%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
