Development of Oxy-Fuel pyrolysis for daily conversion of 30 T biomass and sludge to energy and CO2 capture during simultaneous elimination of PFAS

The focal point of the project is the development of a complete flash pyrolysis plant that integrates with parallel functions in the value chain - from biomass to coal and gas utilization but, as something new on a larger scale, with an integrated oxygen supply (Oxy-Fuel). Co-funding: the EU contributes €4.9M toward a total project cost of €10.0M — a co-funding rate of 49%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
