The project addresses the common challenge, typical for the entire PA, of preservation and enhancement of material and immaterial cultural heritage that is currently poorly utilised. The project’s common main objective is to actively preserve and enhance mythical landscape’s cultural heritage from the perspective of sustainable tourism in the territory of Mošćenička Draga and Hrpelje-Kozina municipalities. Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €633k toward a total project cost of €745k — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
