Cycling mobility accessible to all, an impulse for solidarity in the territories
This project aims to promote cycling mobility in rural and mountain areas in order to strengthen human and territorial solidarity. The innovation of this project concerns the development of experiments for soft mobility for all. To achieve this goal, experiments on pedagogy and awareness of soft mobility in rural areas will be carried out. Priority will be given to local people, holidaymakers and cyclists. Thematic Objective 7 funds sustainable transport and network infrastructure: TEN-T core-network completion, rail electrification, urban mobility, ports and inland-waterway upgrades.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.9M toward a total project cost of €4.4M — a co-funding rate of 65%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
