The objective of the project is to foster clean, multimodal transport through the Scandinavian-Mediterranean Core Network Corridor regions to increase connectivity and competitiveness, while at the same time minimising the negative environmental impact induced by transport activities. Thematic Objective 7 funds sustainable transport and network infrastructure: TEN-T core-network completion, rail electrification, urban mobility, ports and inland-waterway upgrades.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.4M toward a total project cost of €3.6M — a co-funding rate of 66%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
