The aim of the project is a tourist product for experiencing nature and wild animals in the cross-border areas of the Dinaric karst. The area is an undivided forest on both sides of the border that is a part of the northern Dinarides. It is the only area in Europe where all three large predator species (bear,lynx and wolf) are still preserved. Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €835k toward a total project cost of €983k — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
