Laufenburg eight
Both towns of Laufenburg - Laufenburg (Baden) and Laufenburg (Aargau), are jointly creating a 6.2 kilometre circular path through both towns directly on the Rhine. As there are three Rhine crossings in this section, the users of the circular path can keep alternating between both towns and countries. Hence the name "Laufenburg eight”. Thematic Objective 11 supports more efficient public administration — capacity building of public bodies, anti-corruption measures, judicial-reform support, e-administration.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €1.6M toward a total project cost of €2.8M — a co-funding rate of 56%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
