Cross-border governance of innovative projects in the Basel Tri-national region
In Germany, international architectural exhibitions (IBA) commonly play a role in spatial planning and urban development. IBA Basel 2020 is the first exhibition in the German format to extend over a tri-national area. Around 40 project leaders chosen from more than 100 from the three countries are working on proposals in the fields of urban planning, architecture, landscaping, tourism, culture and the environment. The IBA+ project will serve as a coordination and public service platform for all these stakeholders.
About the Efficient public administration objective
Thematic Objective 11 supports more efficient public administration — capacity building of public bodies, anti-corruption measures, judicial-reform support, e-administration.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.0M toward a total project cost of €3.3M — a co-funding rate of 60%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
Kohesio is the European Commission's open-data platform for projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund and the Just Transition Fund. It draws on lists of beneficiaries published by national managing authorities and harmonises them into a single EU-wide view.
