Electrification of the line Kadaň Prunéřov – Kadaň
The project is located on the single-track regional line No. 132 Kadaň-Prunéřov – Poláky. The aim of the construction is to electrify the section Kadaň-Prunéřov – Kadaň in order to ensure continuous transport of trains from Kadan via the TEN-T line to Ústí nad Labem and further to Děčín. Part of the project is reconstruction of the station. Kadaň and the establishment of a new station Kadaň housing estate. The line will be equipped with new technologies enabling remote control and increasing rail safety.

Co-funding: the EU contributes €11.6M toward a total project cost of €13.6M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
