Acquisition of new rolling stock - 37 interregional multiple electric units (RE-IR)

The objective of the project is the acquisition and commissioning (based on competitively awarded CSP contracts) of 37 EMU trains serving 13 routes in Romania, the project is a phased one within the second financial programming, 2014 -2020 and 2021 -2027. In the first stage, the advance payment of 15% of the total value of the supply contract was paid and 1 EMU electric frame was delivered, and in the second stage 2021-2027 36 frames will be delivered.
