The overall objective of the project "Reducing carbon emissions in the City of Alexandria through the adoption of green public transport" is to reduce carbon emissions in the City of Alexandria through investments based on sustainable urban mobility plans. The purpose of the project is to create bike lanes, bike rental stations, bus stops, to build an autobase and park&ride parking, to develop a traffic management system, including a video monitoring system, as well as to modernize the pedestrian area on Libertatii Street.
