Urban regeneration area Cathedral Square in Arad
The main purpose of the investment is the urban regeneration of the Cathedral Square area in Arad, in order to restore its attractiveness, both for citizens and for the development of the tourist potential of the city. The project contributes to the achievement of the specific objective of the Regional Intervention 7.1.A Revitalization and Urban Regeneration through actions such as the reconfiguration and reorganization of the Cathedral Square and the inclusion of the regenerated space in activities dedicated to the community.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €2.9M toward a total project cost of €3.0M — a co-funding rate of 98%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
