A Pilot Line for Advanced Magnetic Thin Film-Based Technologies

The aim of Mag-TF is to establish a pilot line for the development, production and characterization of magnetic thin films for spintronics and MEMS applications. The Mag-TF project creates a thin-film deposition device specialized in magnetic layers and an automatic magnetic wafer probe for the characterization of magnetic samples based on wafers. Overall, the deployment of the Mag-TF infrastructure will support and accelerate the transition of the Austrian and European spintronics and MEMS ecosystem to higher TRLs.
