High-tech press system
Wood K plus is one of the leading research institutions in the field of wood and renewable raw materials in Europe. It has a high-level infrastructure for material characterization. However, this can only monitor the processing processes indirectly via the analysis of the finished product, by determining the achieved technological properties. In the course of the project, a high-tech press system is acquired that enables new fields of application for renewable raw materials and rewrites the state of the art through integrated sensors for an intimate data availability.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €700k toward a total project cost of €1.8M — a co-funding rate of 40%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
