The implementation of the project Strengthening fire protection capacities in mountainous and assisted areas will significantly improve and strengthen the resilience of these areas to the increased risks of forest and outdoor fires due to strong climate change. Investments in the project relate to the purchase of firefighting vehicles, firefighting equipment, exercise areas and raising awareness about fire prevention. Therefore, the project represents an integrated approach to strengthening firefighting services' capabilities in response to the increasing risks of forest fires.
