Regional Waste Management Centre of North-West Croatia Piškornica - Phase 2
Regional Waste Management Centre of North-West Croatia ‘Piškornica’ (hereinafter: RCGO Piškornica) is one of 11 waste management centres that represent projects of special interest for the Republic of Croatia. The construction of RCGO Piškornica with its transhipment stations and associated infrastructure will improve the management system of primarily mixed municipal waste in Koprivnica-Križevci, Varaždin, Međimurje and Krapina-Zagorje counties, and in the second phase in Bjelovar-Bilogora County, and will provide numerous socio-economic benefits and achieve greater protection of soil, water…
Co-funding: the EU contributes €14.4M toward a total project cost of €89.6M — a co-funding rate of 16%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
