The main objective of the investment under the name “Modernisation of Orli Staw ZUOK as Regional Recycling Centre” is to protect the environment by reducing the negative impact on the environment of waste management, increasing the efficiency of the municipal waste management system, fulfilling obligations in the management of municipal waste and improving the environmental living conditions of residents. Thematic Objective 6 finances environment and resource efficiency — water and waste management, biodiversity protection, contaminated-site remediation, air quality, and the circular economy.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €17.7M toward a total project cost of €20.8M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
