TAURON INTERNET FTTH IN THE OŚWIĘCIM AREA
The project will be implemented in the area of Oświęcim in Małopolskie voivodship. The aim of the project is to provide broadband access to 11 134 households and connect 55 educational establishments from the project area to the broadband network. The scope of the project includes the design, construction and commissioning of broadband access network in fibre technology (GPON) with a capacity of at least 100 Mbps, providing services in accordance with the requirements of the NGA-POPC network. About the Information and communication technologies objective
Thematic Objective 2 finances information and communication technologies — broadband roll-out, e-government, e-health, digital skills and the digitisation of public services. It targets the digital divide between EU regions in the 2014–2020 period.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €5.4M toward a total project cost of €6.3M — a co-funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
