Development of the public transport system in Rzeszów
The aim of the project is to improve the functioning of public transport in Rzeszów. Within the framework of the project, the following tasks will be carried out: 1) ITS component – implementation of 13 Intelligent Transport Systems 2) Purchase of 50pieces modern, ecological and adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, including: 1012 m electric buses (including the construction of a vehicle charging station); 3018 m buses powered by ON with an exhaust standard EURO6; 1012 m buses powered by ON with an exhaust standard EURO6; 3) Reconstruction, extension of more than 1000 m of Rzeszó…
About the Low-carbon economy objective
Thematic Objective 4 funds the low-carbon economy — renewable-energy capacity, energy efficiency in public buildings and housing, low-carbon urban mobility, smart grids and combined heat and power. It is the single largest climate strand of 2014–2020 Cohesion.
Co-funding: the EU contributes €31.4M toward a total project cost of €38.8M — a co-funding rate of 81%, with the remainder covered by national, regional or private sources.
