Volatolomics has emerged as a new frontier in deciphering unreached matters related with health conditions. Volatolomics research is based on the study of the volatile compounds emitted by biological samples. It was demonstrated that the volatiles emitted though breath, skin, feces, urine or cells can provide useful information for the diagnosis of an important number of diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, or even neurodegenerative disorders.
