The marginalization of Central and Eastern Europe in queer kinship and family studies has created a critical gap in understanding global LGBTIQ* family dynamics. Dominant theories, shaped largely by Anglo-American contexts, often overlook the diversity of family structures and practices in other regions. About Horizon Europe (2021–2027)
Horizon Europe is the EU's current research and innovation programme, covering 2021 to 2027 with a budget of roughly €95.5 billion.
