The development of a cutting-edge Gallium Nitride (GaN) based Multilevel Active Neutral Point Clamped (ANPC) converter, integrated with a Model Predictive Controller (MPC), to significantly enhance the performance and efficiency of multi-energy systems. The focus of this study is to tackle critical challenges in power electronics by exploiting the superior characteristics of GaN devices, such as the unique advantages of GaN technology, which include its ability to operate at higher efficiencies compared to traditional silicon-based devices.
