NR1 AI-centric Server on Chip for increasing complexity and scale of AI inference applications, enabling the scale of real-life AI applications.

Coordinator: NEUREALITY LTD (IL)

AI holds immense promise across a wide range of applications, however, putting AI to work at scale remains a challenge. The main problem with implementing scalable AI deployment is that the current AI inference architecture is unsuitable for performing hyperscale computations due to complexity of deployment and total cost of ownership. New AI computing architecture is needed to enable the deployment of AI applications to realize its complete potential. NeuReality has developed NR1, an innovative Server-on-a-Chip solution in an AI Centric architecture and NR1 SDK, to facilitate the deployment …

About Horizon Europe (2021–2027)

Horizon Europe is the EU's current research and innovation programme, covering 2021 to 2027 with a budget of roughly €95.5 billion. Its three pillars are Excellent Science (frontier research and mobility), Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness (mission-driven collaborative projects in health, climate, digital, security and food) and Innovative Europe (the EIC and EIT). It also funds five EU Missions targeting cancer, climate adaptation, smart cities, oceans and soils.

Co-funding: the European Union contributes €2.5M toward a total project budget of €7.3M — a funding rate of 34%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 2 years from 2023-07-01 to 2025-06-30.
