The Department of Materials Engineering (DEMATEN) at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad represents the strongest research and education centre in the province Vojvodina in the field of ceramics and polymer materials and one of the first research centres in Serbia in which investigation of nanostructured materials has begun in early 1990’s. About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €500k toward a total project budget of €584k — a funding rate of 86%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 3 years from 2008-05-01 to 2011-04-30.
