The vision of BioSense Center is to become an internationally recognized multidisciplinary research center and a key provider of advanced ICT solutions for acquisition and processing of data for natural resource management.The main objective of this proposal is to foster future development of the BioSense Center, based on its 3-year development strategy, the results of the gap analysis of the Center’s potential, and the results of the SWOT analysis. About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
EU contribution: €2.6M awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 3.5 years from 2013-03-01 to 2016-08-31.
