Research is more than the proverbial test tubes. Researchers’ Night on the 25th September 2009 in Malta’s Capital city, Valletta, will show you why! The main objective of R-City is to give a face and voice to our researchers and the opportunity to show that they are like the rest of us, while in a festive atmosphere. About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €42k toward a total project budget of €49k — a funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 0.5 years from 2009-06-01 to 2009-11-30.
