The project AWARE – All we are researchers! main goal is to enhance public recognition of researchers and their role in society and to encourage young people in Serbia to embark on scientific career. The following project objectives are defined: to give the public the opportunity to meet researchers and revile unknown sides of their life and work and to show them as ordinary people with extraordinary jobs; to raise the public awareness on researchers' contribution to society, progress and development; to highlight the EU support to researchers and especially the new opportunities for research…
About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €25k toward a total project budget of €45k — a funding rate of 56%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 0.6 years from 2010-05-15 to 2010-12-14.
