Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) proposes to create a new “bottom-up driven” post-doctoral programme, PSI-FELLOW, to enable individual experienced researchers to pursue their research career at one of our internationally recognized research departments.PSI is active in condensed matter physics, materials sciences, particle physics, life sciences and medicine, nuclear and non-nuclear energy research and energy-related ecology. About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €6.1M toward a total project budget of €15.2M — a funding rate of 40%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 5 years from 2012-04-01 to 2017-03-31.
