SCIENTA-FELLOWS is an expansion of the transnational component of a well established life sciences fellowship programme at the University of Oslo. Through an extensive network of 25 academic and industrial partner organisations of research and training excellence, experienced researchers who show considerable promise in being tomorrow’s research leaders will undertake an integrated training programme based on freely chosen individual personalised research projects. About Seventh Framework Programme (2007–2013)
The Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) ran from 2007 to 2013 and was the EU's main research-funding instrument of that period. It mobilised roughly €50 billion across cooperation projects, ERC frontier grants, Marie Curie fellowships, capacity-building actions and Euratom research. FP7 closed to new calls in 2013 but its projects continued for years after under their original grant agreements.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €6.7M toward a total project budget of €16.7M — a funding rate of 40%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 5 years from 2014-05-01 to 2019-04-30.
