ETexWeld Welding of E-Textiles for Interactive Clothing

The new field of science dealing with implementation of electronics to textiles in combination with informatics is known as e-textiles. This project proposal leads to knowledge transfer among partners in order to develop innovative e-textile products for interactive protective clothing and footwear using welding technologies by bringing experts from different countries, sectors and disciplines together to focus their effort in innovative e-textile product designs. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
