The SupraChem Lab Project aims to set up a competitive research group in the field of hybrid materials for adaptive selforganized supramolecular structures, in “Petru Poni” Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry - IntelCentre, Iasi, Romania. The new created group will benefit of:- the experience of Professor Jean Marie-Lehn (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 1987) who has accepted to supervise and support the set-up of the SupraChem Lab group and to chair the International Advisory Board of the Projectand- the exceptional infrastructure of the newly built IntelCentre (Centre of Advanced Research in Bio…
About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €2.5M toward a total project budget of €2.7M — a funding rate of 90%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 5 years from 2015-07-01 to 2020-06-30.
