The lack of knowledge, skills or ability to manage innovation processes is still an issue for Armenian SMEs. The biggest EU Research and Innovation programme, the Horizon 2020 will give an opportunity to Armenian SMEs, those capable for growth and internationalization, to enhance their capacity to manage innovation process and will facilitate their cooperation with R&D partners and other relevant partners from EU countries.The overall objective of the Project is the establishment of services within EEN Armenia to enhance the innovation capacity of SMEs with real potential for international gr…
About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
