The main objective of the project is to organize the international conference “Bratislava Bioeconomy Conference 2016” during the presidency of the Slovak Republic in the second half of 2016, disseminate its outcomes and to prepare the discussions for the Agriculture and Competitiveness Council meetings based on the outcomes of the conference. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €100k toward a total project budget of €145k — a funding rate of 69%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 0.3 years from 2016-09-27 to 2017-01-26.
