ASGARD Automatic SaaS Governing of Hybrid Networks for Growing Infrastructure Demands

Coordinator: MEN AND MICE EHF (IS)

The cost of network failure in SMEs is over $20,000 per hour; 70% of SMEs could not survive for more than 24 hours without their critical IT infrastructure and many struggle to recruit skilled IT staff. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)

Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.

Co-funding: the European Union contributes €50k toward a total project budget of €71k — a funding rate of 70%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 0.3 years from 2017-05-01 to 2017-08-31.
