Overactive bladder (OAB) is an emerging condition that significantly impacts the quality of life and daily routine of millions of people. It is characterized by urinary urgency, increased urinary frequency and nocturia. OAB is extremely frequent, affecting more than 500 million people worldwide and its prevalence is expected to increase by 9,2% by 2018.
