The overall objective is to increase the number of skilled building professionals according to recommendations from national qualification roadmap concerning two priorities, training of 4.500 building professionals and blue collar workers and overcoming barriers for implementation of EE measures in operation and maintenance. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
