The overall aim of the DRIVEN project is to boost the scientific excellence and technology-transfer capacity in data-drivensimulation of the University of Luxembourg (UL) by creating a network with the high-quality Twinning partners: InstitutNational de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (Inria), University of Limerick (ULIM) and University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin). About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €1.0M toward a total project budget of €1.2M — a funding rate of 86%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 3.5 years from 2018-10-01 to 2022-03-31.
