The Association Agreement between Ukraine and Euratom was signed on 27 June 2016 and entered into force on 28 October 2016. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
EU contribution: €150k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 2.3 years from 2018-07-01 to 2020-09-30.
