Essential for interdisciplinary research, these services include:• Commodity type commercial digital services, such as: •Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), providing compute, storage, network and related services, and a platform allowing customers to develop, run, and manage applications as a public cloud service. •Software as a Service (SaaS), an on-deman…
About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €12.0M toward a total project budget of €14.2M — a funding rate of 85%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 4 years from 2019-01-01 to 2022-12-31.
