HTx Next Generation Health Technology Assessment to support patient-centred, societally oriented, real-time decision-making on access and reimbursement for health technologies throughout Europe

HTx will create a framework for next generation Health Technology Assessment (HTA) that supports patient-centred, societally oriented, and real-time decision-making for integrated healthcare throughout Europe. HTx will focus on therapeutic areas with high unmet need for which HTA information has to be provided on complex and personalised combinations of health technologies. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
