Smart4Health Citizen-centred EU-EHR exchange for personalised health

Smart4Health will enable the citizen-centred EU EHR exchange for personalised health. This will pave the way for the full deployment of citizen-centred solutions and services in a digital single market for wellbeing and healthcare. It will provide for interoperability, complementarity and cooperativity with profiles that are currently used e.g. by Member States and regions. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
EU contribution: €21.8M awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 4.8 years from 2019-01-01 to 2023-10-31.
