PASIFIC is a new Fellowship Programme, which will offer 50 prestigious two-year postdoctoral fellowships for incoming mobility. The Programme foresees the publication of two calls over the 60 months of its duration. It will provide excellent researchers from all over the world with research and complementary skills as well as transferable skills training of highest international standards that will help them to advance their scientific careers within a chosen sector, across academia, industry or a public sector. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
Co-funding: the European Union contributes €3.7M toward a total project budget of €7.4M — a funding rate of 50%, with the remainder covered by the consortium partners. The project runs over approximately 5 years from 2020-03-01 to 2025-02-28.
