Science with and for Society has a vital role to play in bringing together a wide range of stakeholders in order to build capacities and develop innovative ways to connect science to society through Responsible Research and Innovation measures. This demands that the Science with and for Society National Contact Points (NCPs) are able to orientate in the wide area of policy behind the programme, its topics and research areas as well as in Horizon 2020 rules and regulations and in addition, they need to have extensive knowledge of the different groups of stakeholders, in order to be able to ful…
About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
EU contribution: €600k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 2 years from 2019-03-01 to 2021-02-28.
