The 12th SET Plan Conference will be held during 12 - 14 June 2019, at the Politehnica University of Bucharest – Romania, under the auspices of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU and will be conjoined with the external ENVE (Environment, Climate change and Energy) Commission and Conference within the European Committee of the Regions. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
