The objective of the project is to organise a three full day international conference titled “Innovative Enterprise Week Bucharest 2019” (IEW Bucharest 2019) . The conference will bring on the stage debates about how to bridge the gap from idea to investable project, how to support breakthrough innovations and the scale up potential with high risk for private investors. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
EU contribution: €450k awarded to the consortium. The project runs over approximately 0.5 years from 2019-04-16 to 2019-10-15.
