Main task is to deliver Key Account Management services to SME beneficiaries of the EIC pilots under H2020, in addition to offering Enhancing the innovation management capacity of SMEs, focusing on particularly promising SMEs in enhancing their innovation management capacities. The services are aimed at SMEs in Iceland with a great potential for international growth, but lack knowledge, skills or ability to manage innovation activities. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
