The ambition of this fellowship, hosted by Professor S.P.A. Bordas (UL), is to propose a nonlinear manifold learning framework, in particular to implement the Diffusion Maps methodology, enabled by “equation-free” calculations and Artificial Neural Networks, in the context of multi-scale materials and process modeling and design. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation.
