A three-day online conference (WIRE XI or WIRE 2020) will be organized by the Faculty of economics, business and tourism, University of Split (FEBT) for the eleventh edition of the Week of Innovative Regions in Europe (WIRE XI or WIRE 2020). The conference will be held from 4 to 6 November 2020 as a part of the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. About Horizon 2020 (2014–2020)
Horizon 2020 was the EU's flagship research and innovation programme for 2014–2020, with a budget of around €77 billion. It bundled FP7's strands with the EIT and the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, introduced a stronger societal-challenge orientation, and pushed the funding logic toward closer-to-market innovation. New calls closed in 2020 but funded projects continued through 2024.
